Bury Manifold CD Release Show

March 2, 2010

Friday, I had the chance to go see local band Bury Manifold perform for their CD Release show. The CD, entitled At The Bottom Of The Sky is extremely well produced and has great instrumentation and vocals. These guys played a great show and know what they’re about. So, if you like bands like Tool, A Perfect Circle, Def Tones, and other Hard Rock/Metal then you need to give Bury Manifold a listen.

Check out their MySpace, Facebook, and last.fm!

Many thanks to them for inviting me out, and for letting me take some pictures!

On another note:

This is the first set of pictures I’ve run through Aperture 3. I’ve never used Aperture before, and am giving 3 a trial run. The verdict so far? I like it; good flows, precise controls, and it follows nicely off other programs I (have) use(d).

This was also a chance to use my Canon Rebel XSi in the dark with the ISO at its max of 1600. I’m disappointed that the images are pretty grainy, but hey it’s a $700 camera and I didn’t use flash of any kind. If anything these pictures work just fine on the web.
