This is a scanned print that I did in photography class earlier this summer.  I think this is an excellent example of what is both old and new about the image.  The fact that this was taken with a film camera and developed is it’s old style.  The other side of the coin is that what  is represented here is digital.  So this has a physical counterpart, that is one of a kind while at the same time having a digital part that can be infinitely copied.
